PM announces changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service

Ottawa, Ontario
Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced today the following changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service.

Liseanne Forand, currently Senior Associate Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development and Chief Operating Officer for Service Canada, becomes President of Shared Services Canada, effective August 4, 2011.

Karen Jackson, currently Associate Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development, becomes Senior Associate Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development and Chief Operating Officer for Service Canada, effective August 4, 2011.

Ronald Parker, currently Senior Assistant Deputy Minister, Industry Canada, becomes Associate Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development, effective August 11, 2011.
