Prime Minister of Kuwait to visit Canada

Prime Minister Stephen Harper today announced that the Prime Minister of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, will visit Canada from September 25 to 26, 2011.
“Kuwait is a valued partner for Canada in the Middle East,” said the Prime Minister. “I look forward to welcoming His Highness to Canada and strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in the areas of trade and investment.”
Prime Minister Harper and His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah will also discuss the challenges currently facing the Middle-East and North Africa, including security in the region.
This will be the first visit to Canada by a Prime Minister of Kuwait.
