PM to participate in World Economic Forum in Davos

Prime Minister Stephen Harper today announced that he will travel to Davos, Switzerland, on January 25, 2012, to participate in the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum.
“The World Economic Forum is a unique opportunity for leaders to come together to discuss issues of global importance,” said the Prime Minister. “This year’s meeting comes at a crucial time, when the world is looking for solutions to the economic challenges that are threatening a global economic recovery.”
The World Economic Forum is an independent, international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders to help shape global and regional agendas.
