PM announces changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service

Ottawa, Ontario
Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced today the following changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service:

Gérald Cossette, currently Associate Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, becomes Director of the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada, effective October 15, 2012.

Peter M. Boehm, currently Ambassador of Canada to the Federal Republic of Germany, becomes Associate Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, effective November 26, 2012.


The Prime Minister also wishes to thank Jeanne M. Flemming, former Director of the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada, who retired from the Public Service in March 2012, for her achievements and dedicated service to Canadians over a long Public Service career.
