PM announces change in the senior ranks of the public service

Ottawa, Ontario
Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced today the following change in the senior ranks of the public service:

Claire Dansereau, currently the Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, will be Canada’s nominee as Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), representing Canada, Morocco, Jordan and Tunisia.  Ms. Dansereau will be replacing Suzanne Hurtubise, who will be retiring from the Public Service in January 2013.

The Prime Minister thanked Ms. Hurtubise for her dedication and excellence in serving Canadians throughout her 36 year career.
