Bilateral with Chinese President Hu Jintao

Prime Minister Harper briefly chatted with Chinese President Hu Jintao on the margins of the Washington Summit.

Prime Minister Harper reiterated to President Hu how much he enjoyed his recent trip to China and how he looked forward to seeing President Hu at the upcoming G-20 Summit in Toronto.

As Canada and China celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations, Prime  Minister Harper stressed the importance of building on his recent trip to China.
