PM meets with Viktor Ianoukovich, President of Ukraine

The Prime Minister met with His Excellency Viktor Ianoukovich, President of Ukraine. The two leaders recognized the close ties between their countries and peoples. President Ianoukovich remarked on Canada's successful year as hosts to both the G-8 and G-20 Summits and the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. Prime Minister Harper acknowledged the 25th Anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster and President Yanukovych expressed his gratitude for Canada's donor support.
