Prime Minister Harper meets with new Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda

Today, Prime Minister Harper met for the first time with new Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda on the margins of the UN General Assembly in New York.  The two leaders discussed ways to advance Canada-Japan relations, including bilateral trade issues, peace and security cooperation.  They also discussed working together in international forums like the G20 and APEC.
