PM speaks with Panama President Ricardo Martinelli

This morning Prime Minister Stephen Harper spoke with Panama President Ricardo Martinelli. Prime Minister Harper sought the President’s views on challenges to the global economy and the impact on Panama and its region.
Their discussions also touched on the close bilateral relationship between Canada and Panama. Prime Minister Harper indicated that he was looking forward to the upcoming entry into force of the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement, which will increase trade and investment between both countries.
