Statement by the Prime Minister of Canada on Yukon election results

Prime Minister Stephen Harper today issued the following statement on the results of the election in Yukon:
“On October 11, 2011, the people of Yukon gave Darrell Pasloski a mandate to continue to serve as Premier of the Territory.
“I congratulate both Premier Pasloski and his team on their victory and look forward to working with them on issues that matter to Yukoners and all Canadians, including promoting prosperity in a challenging global economy.”
