Statement by the Prime Minister of Canada on record attendance at this year's Calgary Stampede

Prime Minister Stephen Harper today issued the following statement on the all-time attendance record set at this year’s Calgary Stampede.
“On behalf of all Canadians, I would like to congratulate and applaud the Calgary Stampede organizers for their tremendous success at this year’s centennial celebration, which broke the all-time attendance record.
“The Calgary Stampede is a trademark Canadian event and I am confident that it will continue to be a premiere celebration for years to come.”
