2:00 p.m. – Prime Minister Stephen Harper will deliver remarks at the official opening of the Beaubassin Research Station.  He will be joined by Keith Ashfield, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans and Minister for the Atlantic Gateway, Bernard Valcourt, Associate Minister of National Defence and Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency) (la Francophonie), and Scott Armstrong, Member of Parliament for Cumberland-Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley.
