Mr. Ferguson began his career as an auditor with New Brunswick’s Office of the Comptroller in 1985. Over the next 20 years, he held positions of increasing responsibility and scope within the Office of the Comptroller, including as Comptroller in April 2000, a position he held for 5 years.
Mr. Ferguson is currently serving his third term as a member of the Public Sector Accounting Board. From 2005 until 2010, he was an active member of the New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Accountants (NBICA) serving as its Secretary-Treasurer, Vice-President and then President (2009-2010).
Mr. Ferguson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.
