Ms. L’Heureux joined the Library of Parliament in 2008 as Assistant Parliamentary Librarian. Since February 2012, she has held the position of Associate Parliamentary Librarian and has been performing the duties and functions of Parliamentary Librarian since that time. She is also a member of the Standing Committee on the Library and Research Services for Parliament section of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions.
Prior to joining the Library of Parliament, she held the positions of Director General of Reorganization Implementation and Renewal Integration at Human Resources and Social Development Canada and Specialist Advisor, Tax Policy, at the Australian Treasury. She has also worked as a policy analyst at Finance Canada, Environment Canada and Energy, Mines and Resources Canada.
Ms. L’Heureux holds a Master of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Université de Montréal.
