Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met today with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan on the margins of the APEC Summit in the Philippines.
The two leaders reaffirmed the strong relationship between their countries, which is anchored in constructive collaboration. They discussed a number of issues of shared interest, including trade, security, energy, climate change, as well as science and technology.
They also looked forward to working together when Japan assumes the chair of the G7 in 2016.
