Browser not supportedThe Government of Canada and the Government of Nova Scotia have approved 96 community infrastructure projects under two new federal infrastructure programs: the Clean Water and Wastewater Fund and the Public Transit Infrastructure Fund. These programs form part of Phase 1 of the Government of Canada’s 10-year Investing in Canada plan and will address key infrastructure priorities with a focus on repairing and upgrading existing facilities and assets.
Clean Water and Wastewater Fund
The Government of Canada is providing $86,000,336 and the Government of Nova Scotia is providing $43,000,168 to fund 73 projects that will rehabilitate and improve community water and wastewater systems across the province. Combined with municipal contributions, $180,735,189 will be used to provide Nova Scotians with clean, reliable water sources.
