The Prime Minister announces changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service

The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, today announced the following changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service:

Andrea Lyon, currently Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, becomes Deputy Clerk of the Privy Council and Associate Secretary to the Cabinet, effective May 29, 2017.

Chris Forbes, currently Associate Deputy Minister of Finance, becomes Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, effective May 29, 2017.

Guylaine Roy, currently Assistant Deputy Minister, Cultural Affairs, Canadian Heritage, becomes Associate Deputy Minister of Canadian Heritage, effective May 23, 2017.

The Prime Minister took the opportunity to congratulate Serge Dupont, who has served as Deputy Clerk of the Privy Council and Associate Secretary to the Cabinet, on the occasion of his retirement from the Public Service, following a distinguished career marked by dedication and excellence in serving Canadians.
