The two leaders discussed issues related to Euro-Atlantic security, including burden sharing and NATO's role in counter-terrorism.
The Secretary General thanked Canada for its concrete contributions to the Alliance, including in addressing the issue of sexual and gender-based violence in armed conflict and in leading a multinational battlegroup deploying to Latvia as part of NATO's enhance Forward Presence.
