Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke today with Prime Minister Theresa May of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

Prime Minister Trudeau offered his condolences for the innocent victims who were killed, including one Canadian, and those injured on June 3 as a result of the terrorist attack in London, United Kingdom.  Prime Minister Trudeau offered Canada’s full support to the United Kingdom.  Prime Minister May expressed her condolences to the family of the Canadian victim for their loss, and was pleased to hear of the family's gratitude for the support provided by British officials. Both leaders also recognize the family's generosity of spirit in encouraging community service in light of the tragedy they have experienced. 

The two leaders agreed to continue cooperation to counter the threat of terrorism and radicalization.
