On the margins of his participation at the National Governors Association Summer Meeting, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met today with John Hickenlooper, Governor of Colorado.

The Prime Minister and the Governor discussed a range of Canada-Colorado issues, including increasing opportunities for trade and investment, collaborating on the fight against climate change, and the importance of continental security, in particular the Canada-US partnership at NORAD.  

Canada-Colorado bilateral trade was valued at US$4.1 billion in 2016.
