The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, today announced the following changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service:

Diane Jacovella becomes Deputy Minister for Women and Gender Equality, as an interim measure, in addition to her current role as Deputy Minister of International Development, effective May 6, 2019.

Kristina Namiesniowski, currently Executive Vice-President of the Canada Border Services Agency, becomes President of the Public Health Agency of Canada, effective May 6, 2019.
