Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met today with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Ottawa.
The leaders discussed the importance of their partnership in NATO and Poland’s hosting of the NATO Leaders Summit in Warsaw on July 8-9, 2016. The two held exchanges on regional security including Ukraine, Iraq and Syria, and migration.
Prime Minister Trudeau and President Duda also discussed bilateral commercial relations and reaffirmed their strong support for the timely ratification of the Canada and European Union (EU) Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
