Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met today with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto on the margins of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Leaders’ Meeting.

The two leaders discussed current developments with respect to cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region concerning open and progressive trade.

The two leaders also discussed the renegotiation and modernization of the North American Free Trade Agreement.
