The Prime Minister congratulated Premier Eby and the British Columbia New Democratic Party on their recent re-election.
The Prime Minister and the Premier discussed affordability and economic development opportunities, and they recognized the importance of continuing to work together on housing and infrastructure projects. They also spoke about their intention to reach a bilateral agreement on the National School Food Program. The leaders reiterated their interest toward the electrification of key economic sectors and advancing clean growth in British Columbia.
Prime Minister Trudeau and Premier Eby agreed to continue working together on these and other important issues.
