Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met today with the Prime Minister of Australia, Malcolm Turnbull, on the margins of APEC.

The two leaders affirmed their commitment to support free and open trade.  They welcomed the ongoing cooperation between Australia and Canada and explored ways to enhance governmental exchanges, commercial ties, security cooperation, defence ties, and youth mobility.  The prime ministers discussed global issues, including regional security, counter-terrorism, and migration.
