The two leaders discussed the regional security situation in the Middle East, including the status of the peace process. They specifically discussed Iran’s position within the region.
Prime Minister Trudeau and Prime Minister Netanyahu discussed economic ties between their countries and the role of new information technologies in transforming economies. The leaders also discussed the importance of a modernized Canada-Israel Free Trade Agreement, which would benefit both Canadian and Israeli companies.
