Today, the Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, met with Jerry Brown, Governor of California, during the Prime Minister’s visit to San Francisco.

The Prime Minister and the Governor discussed a range of Canada-California issues, including the significance of the North American Free Trade Agreement to both economies and shared efforts to address climate change.

Canada-California bilateral trade was valued at US$25.4 billion (2016) with over 1.2 million jobs in California, and over 211,000 jobs in Los Angeles, dependent on trade and investment with Canada.
