Today, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with Alain Berset, President of the Swiss Confederation, on the margins of the Summit of La Francophonie in Yerevan, Armenia.

The two leaders discussed their shared commitment to La Francophonie and considered how to further strengthen economic collaboration on innovation, science and technology, and cultural industries.

Prime Minister Trudeau and President Berset also exchanged views on geo-political and other international issues, including advancing rules-based trade and taking more effective‎ action on climate change.
