Hello, everyone. Before starting with the good news today, I would like to take a moment to send all our thoughts and support to the families in Nova Scotia going through a devastating time of loss.

Before I begin, I do want to express the support of all Canadians for families in Nova Scotia who are facing devastating news yesterday and today. We will continue to be with them.

What a team! I am so excited about putting forward this incredible team of Canadians who will continue the hard work of stepping up to support people, to create great jobs and to grow the economy in ways that works for everyone. This is a positive step in a moment of consequential impact in the world and in the country. We know times are challenging, but this is the team that is going to be able to continue the hard work, rolling up their sleeves and delivering for Canadians from coast to coast to coast as we build a brighter and ambitious future for all Canadians.

It’s such a pleasure to be here to introduce the team that’s going to roll up its sleeves to keep working, delivering concrete results for Canadians, creating good jobs, helping with the cost of living, to keep leading on reconciliation, on climate action with a positive and ambitious vision for the country. I’m very excited to get to work going forward, but I’m very happy to see so many of you here today.
