Happy Easter!

Today, I join Christians in Canada and around the world to celebrate Easter. Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It’s a time to look to the future with optimism and appreciate the present, whether it’s by going to church, watching kids hunt for Easter eggs, or coming together around the table.

For all of us, the Easter story is a reminder of the power of love and the importance of hope. And for our family, it’s a chance to celebrate along with Christians across the country and to take time to appreciate our many blessings.

As we move forward together in 2018, let’s continue to honour the values that unite us and put into practice what it means to love our neighbours as ourselves.
