Charles Fugère joined the National Security and Intelligence Review Agency (NSIRA) Secretariat in 2019, serving first as Director of International Review, then as Senior General Counsel, and later as Senior General Counsel and Director General of Mandate.
Prior to working with the NSIRA, Mr. Fugère developed extensive experience in national security review, having worked as legal counsel for the Security Intelligence Review Committee from 2013 to 2019. He began his career in the federal public service working at the Department of Justice Canada’s British Columbia Regional Office in Vancouver.
Mr. Fugère is a member in good standing of the Law Societies of British Columbia and Ontario.
