
Greg Fergus was first elected as the Member of Parliament for Hull—Aylmer in 2015.
Over the past 25 years, Mr. Fergus has worked in the private, public, non-profit, and academic sectors.
Since moving to the Ottawa-Gatineau area in 1988, he has been an advocate for social housing and seniors. He has served as a member of the board of directors of the Aylmer Arms, a residence for semi-retired and retired seniors, and a member of a local parish council. Previously, he was vice president of a neighbourhood association, and was also involved with school committees, sports teams, and organizations promoting regional interests.
Mr. Fergus holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor in International Relations from Carleton University. He has also undertaken studies at the Master’s level in International Relations.
He and his wife, Julie, have three children.
