Sherry Romanado was elected as a Member of Parliament in the riding of Longueuil–Charles-LeMoyne in October 2015.
Ms. Romanado was the Assistant Director of Continuing Education at Cégep Champlain of Saint-Lambert and a lecturer at McGill University’s School of Continuing Studies. As an engaged citizen, Ms. Romanado has always been highly involved in her community. She was the Vice President and Director of Communications for the CGG 1979 Centennial Cadet Corps of Greenfield Park, as well as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion (Branch 94) and the Greenfield Park Lions Club.
She serves as a member of the House of Commons Standing Committee on National Defence and the House of Commons Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs.
Born and raised in Longueuil—Charles-LeMoyne, Ms. Romanado is the proud mother of two sons who are members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Ms. Romanado is currently Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Seniors.
