Prime Minister Trudeau delivers a message on Eid al-Adha
Today, Muslims in Canada and around the world will celebrate Eid al-Adha and mark the end of the Hajj.
Eid al-Adha is a time to reflect on lessons of sacrifice and show compassion to those in need.
Communities will come together to share food, pray, and give thanks for life’s blessings.
For all of us, Eid al-Adha is a chance to recognize everything Canadian Muslims do to shape our country for the better and to celebrate the differences that make us who we are.
On behalf of our family, Sophie and I wish all those observing Eid al-Adha a wonderful celebration.
