Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met today with the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Paul Ryan, in Washington, D.C.

The Prime Minister and the Speaker discussed a wide range of bilateral issues, including the mutually beneficial trading relationship between the two countries, job creation and cooperation to reduce regulatory burdens and border security.

They agreed on the importance of continued strong relations for the benefit of citizens on both sides of the border.
