On the margins his participation at the Microsoft CEO Summit, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met today with Jay Inslee, Governor of Washington State.

The Prime Minister and the Governor discussed a range of Canada-Washington issues, including development of the Cascadia Innovation Corridor, opportunities for trade and investment, and innovation in the energy sector.

Canada – Washington bilateral trade was valued at US$19.8 billion in 2016.
