    The Prime Minister spoke today with Prime Minister Teresa May of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. The leaders discussed the recent actions taken by the United States, France and the United Kingdom to address the chemical weapon attack by the Syrian Government against its own people. Both prime ministers agreed that these were necessary, targeted and proportionate actions to address this egregious situation.  The prime ministers closed by discussing their plans to meet in the coming week during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in London.
